Child Safety Standards
Last updated: September 24, 2026
TalkVerse maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This document outlines our published standards, enforcement practices, and reporting procedures to protect minors and uphold child safety across our platform.
1. Scope and Application
These Child Safety Standards apply to all users of the TalkVerse mobile application ("TalkVerse," "the App," "we," "our," or "us"), our website, and any related services operated by TalkVerse. These standards are publicly accessible and enforceable against every user, developer, partner, and third-party service integrated with TalkVerse.
2. Zero-Tolerance Policy Against CSAE
TalkVerse explicitly prohibits all forms of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), including but not limited to:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any content — text, image, audio, or video — that sexually depicts, exploits, or abuses a minor (anyone under 18 years of age).
- Grooming: Any attempt to build a relationship of trust with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation or abuse.
- Solicitation: Requesting, producing, or distributing sexual content involving minors in any format.
- Sexual Exploitation: Leveraging influence, technology, or the App to coerce, manipulate, or exploit minors for sexual purposes.
- Trafficking: Any activity that facilitates the trafficking of minors for sexual or exploitative purposes.
- Harmful AI Interactions Involving Minors: Attempting to generate, simulate, or roleplay sexual or exploitative scenarios involving individuals under 18 through our AI characters.
Violations of this policy will result in immediate and permanent account termination, and may be reported to appropriate law enforcement authorities and child protection agencies.
3. Age Restriction and Verification
TalkVerse is strictly an 18+ platform. We enforce this through:
- Mandatory age verification during onboarding — users must provide their date of birth and must be 18 years or older to create an account.
- Immediate account deletion if we discover a user is under 18 — all associated data is permanently removed.
- No registration path for minors — the App will not allow users under 18 to proceed past the age verification step.
4. Content Moderation and AI Safeguards
All AI characters and content generation systems within TalkVerse are designed with child safety as a foundational principle:
- All AI characters are explicitly depicted as adults and have defined adult personas. No AI character is presented as, or designed to appear as, a minor.
- TalkVerse uses safety controls designed to prevent the generation of sexual or exploitative content involving minors.
- TalkVerse continuously works to improve its safety systems and address potential misuse.
5. User Responsibilities
All TalkVerse users agree, as a condition of using the App, that they will not:
- Share, upload, request, or solicit any content that sexually depicts or exploits minors.
- Attempt to use AI characters to simulate, roleplay, or generate scenarios involving the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors.
- Share access to the App with anyone under 18 years of age.
- Attempt to circumvent age verification or safety systems.
- Use the App to contact, solicit, or exploit minors on or off the platform.
Users who violate these standards will have their accounts permanently terminated and may be referred to law enforcement.
